Bike Sizing

What is my frame size?

Buying the right frame size is important to ensure you experience the best possible ride on your Dutch Bike.

Please see our size chart below to find out what frame size would fit you best.

How to determine your size:

Step 1: Take off your shoes, stand with your back against a wall, with your heels touching the wall, and measure your height from the floor to the top of your head

Step 2: Measure your leg inseam - measure the inside of your leg from the floor to where the saddle would be if you were sitting on it

Step 3: Use these measurements to identify what your bike size should be based on the chart below

*Your leg inseam is more important than your height

 Height Leg Inseam Bike Size
5' - 5'4" 26" - 29" XS - 18", 19", 20"
5'4" - 5'9" 28" - 31" S - 20", 21"
5'9" - 6'2" 30" - 33" M - 22", 22.5"
6'2"+ 34"+ L - 22.5", 23", 23.5"

You can often size up or down as Dutch bikes allow for a wider range of adjustability in their stems and seatposts. Choosing the right bike size also depends on your body and how you like to feel on a bike, so we highly recommend coming into the shop to try a few different bikes.
